Human Resources Advisor

 

Description:

The HR Advisor will provide comprehensive, hands-on HR support across the organisation. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice on a full range of employee relations matters, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance and performance issues
  • Acting as a confident point of contact for managers, offering pragmatic and commercially focused HR guidance
  • Supporting and advising on organisational change and transformation activity
  • Assisting with recruitment, on boarding and induction processes
  • Supporting HR projects, policy development and process improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring HR practices are compliant with current UK employment legislation
  • Managing HR activity independently while contributing positively to the wider HR team

 

About You

 

  • Proven experience in a generalist HR Adviser role
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
  • Confident, proactive and able to work autonomously
  • Comfortable advising and challenging managers at all levels
  • CIPD qualified or working towards qualification (desirable)
  • Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
