It Project Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Information Technology Project Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support one of its key clients through a large-scale site relocation and critical system implementation. Based in Sheffield with a hybrid working model (3 days onsite, project dependent), this role offers a unique opportunity to lead transformative IT initiatives with high organizational impact.

The successful candidate will take full ownership of IT project delivery focused on WES (Warehouse Execution Systems) and/or MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) implementations. This role requires deep experience in managing complex projects across manufacturing or logistics operations and involves both strategic oversight and hands-on involvement in application configuration, testing, and rollouts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the delivery of key IT projects linked to site relocation and enterprise system deployment.

• Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders across various locations to ensure seamless project execution.

• Manage project timelines, technical resources, and communication plans effectively.

• Oversee and support the implementation of WES/MES systems.

• Provide hands-on application support, including testing, configuration, and system rollout processes.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Significant experience in IT project management within manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, or automotive sectors.

• Prior involvement in site relocations or new site establishment is highly desirable.

• Strong background in application delivery; prior experience as a Test Lead or in a similar role is advantageous.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.

• Ability to manage multi-site project complexities with confidence and precision.
