Convelio, a tech-driven freight forwarding startup at the crossroads of logistics, technology, and the art world, is seeking a Junior Freight Coordinator to join their growing team based near Heathrow Airport. Convelio specializes in the global shipment and storage of high-value goods such as paintings and sculptures and provides seamless SaaS solutions for clients in art logistics.

As a Junior Freight Coordinator, your core responsibility will be to coordinate and manage courier export shipments from the UK, ensuring that shipments leave the warehouse efficiently and are accurately documented. You will work closely with major courier partners like DHL and FedEx, handling everything from booking and tracking shipments to managing customs documentation and export declarations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating timely and cost-effective export shipments.

• Preparing all necessary customs documentation, such as POAs and tariff codes.

• Managing export declarations and ensuring compliance with international shipping standards.

• Providing exceptional support to clients during the import process.

• Troubleshooting shipment delays, customs issues, and delivery problems.

• Keeping internal systems updated with shipment progress reports.

• Collaborating cross-functionally with warehouse and customer care teams.

• Contributing to continuous process improvements within the Freight & Customs team.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding or logistics.

• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.

• Comfortable in a dynamic, evolving work environment with strong prioritization skills.

• Prior experience in art shipping or a startup environment is advantageous.

• Quick learner with adaptability to new systems and processes.
