Planning Manager

Description:

A leading FMCG business based in Lancashire are looking for a Planning Manager to join their team. As Planning Manager, you will lead a team in creating production plans, forecasts, schedules, places material orders and organising other resources that are needed to meet both customer and business targets.

About The Role
 

• Provider leadership and direction to the planning team, ensuring KPIs are met and where possible exceeded across customer service, waste and efficient planning of operational resources and labour line up
• Engage with commercial to ensure the execution of a robust demand plan
• Work with suppliers to manage material call offs and ensure inventory is kept within agreed parameters
• Be a pivotal part of the business's S&OP process
• Manage integrity of MRP systems
   

About The Person
 

• Previous experience working as a Senior Planner/ Planning Manager in an FMCG environment
• Excellent knowledge around production planning
• Excellent Excel skills
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
