Principal Civil & Structural Designer 🚨

First Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Principal Civil & Structural Designer to support the delivery of complex industrial engineering projects within a multidisciplinary environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior designer with strong 3D modelling, detailing, and coordination experience to work on high-profile projects, collaborating with both UK and international delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities
✅ Lead the development and delivery of Civil & Structural 3D models and 2D design packages
✅ Produce General Arrangement drawings, reinforced concrete detailing, steelwork fabrication drawings, foundations and underground services layouts
✅ Review and check models and drawings to ensure compliance with project and quality requirements
✅ Coordinate design activities across multidisciplinary engineering teams
✅ Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and constructability assessments
✅ Support CAD/BIM standards, workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives
