Senior Surveyor

Description:

Owen Daniels is hiring a Senior Surveyor for a permanent full-time role in support of a client that leads the way in infrastructure safety and monitoring solutions. This client provides innovative services that help detect abnormalities and ensure the functional health of a wide range of civil structures—protecting both the population and the environment.

The Senior Surveyor will take charge of end-to-end management of surveying projects, ensuring both accuracy and regulatory compliance. You will conduct on-site surveys involving Monitoring, Setting Out, and Topographical Surveys, analyse and report survey data, and collaborate with project managers to ensure delivery is aligned with client expectations. Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring junior surveyors and leveraging the latest technologies to maintain a high standard of precision and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage surveying projects from conception to completion

• Conduct and evaluate complex site surveys

• Create and analyse survey data and produce detailed drawings

• Ensure work complies with local regulations and industry standards

• Collaborate closely with project managers to meet project specifications

• Mentor junior team members in modern surveying techniques

• Operate advanced surveying equipment including Leica Total Stations and laser scanning systems
