Description:
LAW Absolute is recruiting a Senior Property Lawyer on behalf of a Local Authority Shared Service based in Cambridgeshire for a full-time, permanent role. The successful candidate will be part of a well-established legal team offering expert legal counsel to public sector clients on a variety of commercial property and regeneration matters. This includes advising and negotiating on collaborative projects involving multiple stakeholders, including charitable and third-sector organisations.
The role offers a hybrid work model, requiring attendance at the Cambridgeshire office two days a week. It is ideal for a legal professional who is qualified to practice in England and Wales and has substantial experience in handling a commercial property caseload within the UK local government sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and support on commercial property and regeneration matters
Handle a diverse caseload involving complex public sector transactions
Advise clients on projects involving third-sector and charitable organisations
Collaborate effectively with other legal professionals and stakeholders
Draft, review, and negotiate property-related legal documentation
Requirements:
Qualified solicitor, barrister, or chartered legal executive (England & Wales)
Demonstrable experience with commercial property matters
Prior experience working within the UK local government legal framework
Ability to work hybrid with 2 days onsite in Cambridgeshire
Salary & Benefits:
Annual salary range: £50,790 – £58,168
Monthly equivalent: £4232 – £4847
