Major Logistics, a specialist recruitment division under Major Recruitment, is seeking a driven and experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join their Wakefield office. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about the logistics and supply chain sector and want to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven yet supportive environment.

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end recruitment cycle. This includes developing and maintaining long-term client relationships, resourcing, interviewing, placing candidates, and ensuring smooth service delivery. You will be working across professional driving roles ranging from Van Drivers to Class 1 level drivers, ensuring both clients and candidates receive an outstanding service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and nurture strong client relationships within the logistics and supply chain sector.

• Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle including resourcing, interviewing, placements, payroll, sales, and servicing.

• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of both candidates and clients through networking, advertising, headhunting, and referrals.

• Take part in out-of-hours and on-call coverage on a weekly rota basis with other logistics team members.

• Consistently meet and exceed KPIs and performance targets.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of 360° recruitment experience, preferably within logistics and supply chain.

• Proven billing track record within the logistics recruitment sector.

• Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

• Self-motivated, proactive, passionate, and resilient personality.

• Ambition to progress into more senior roles such as Principal Consultant or Management.
