As a Social Media Executive, you'll:
- Plan and deliver engaging, social-first content across TikTok and Instagram.
- Create compelling content for Myprotein’s fitness, lifestyle and activewear communities, including short-form video, imagery and text.
- Capture and produce social content on shoots with ambassadors and creators, from phone-shot content to briefing videographers on larger productions.
- Edit and optimise video and visual content for performance across each social platform.
- Collaborate with marketing, content and influencer teams to support integrated campaigns and ambassador activations.
- Manage day-to-day social media publishing schedules and campaign execution.
- Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitors and emerging creators across the fitness and activewear space.
- Identify opportunities to grow Myprotein’s social reach through new influencers, partnerships and platforms.
- Analyse social media performance metrics and KPIs to optimise content and engagement.
- Manage social media communities and respond to customer enquiries and feedback.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, tools and best practices to keep Myprotein at the forefront of digital and social innovation.
What skills and experience do i need for this role?
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience in a social media role, ideally within fitness, sports, activewear, fashion or lifestyle brands.
- Expertise in social media platforms, including TikTok and Instagram.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe suite, including Capcut.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience using third party publishing and analytics tools.
- A knowledge of the brand and passion for health, fitness, activewear and nutrition – especially in weight lifting and hybrid training - is a plus.
