Sustainable Investing Regulatory Analyst

 

Description:

Neuberger Berman is seeking a Sustainable Investing Regulatory Analyst to enhance and support the firm’s compliance processes and programs related to sustainable investing regulations. This key role involves ensuring compliance with evolving sustainability-related laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will collaborate with a wide range of internal teams, including Sustainable Investing, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Risk, Reporting, Client, and Investment teams, focusing on global regions within the private market business.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with compliance monitoring and testing, ensuring sustainable investing-related disclosures meet regulatory requirements (such as the EU SFDR), and supporting the implementation of processes and systems for sustainability-related regulations. You will help draft and execute reports and collaborate with internal stakeholders on various regulatory requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct compliance monitoring and testing to ensure regulatory disclosures for private markets funds meet sustainability requirements

  • Assist in drafting and delivering SFDR-related disclosures, including pre-contractual, website, and periodic reporting disclosures

  • Support the coordination of enhancements to operational and compliance processes, systems, and programs related to sustainable investing

  • Track and analyze sustainable investing-related regulatory developments

  • Collaborate with internal teams on sustainable investing regulatory requests, including client-related and ad hoc inquiries

  • Help draft and update policies and procedures related to sustainable investing and compliance

Key Requirements:

  • Strong computer literacy, including familiarity with AI/Chat GPT and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Familiarity with sustainable investing regulations and a desire to grow expertise in sustainable investing-compliance

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience in regulatory compliance

  • Strong academic background with an undergraduate degree and excellent academic credentials
