Valuation/building Surveyor

Description:

This opportunity is ideal for a surveyor who enjoys variety and values being part of a knowledgeable, close-knit team. The work is primarily focused in the Leeds area, with residential responsibilities including valuations, HomeBuyer Reports, and Building Surveys for both private clients and mainstream lenders. In addition, the role provides exposure to a wide range of commercial instructions.

You’ll be exposed to commercial surveys and valuations, as well as landlord and tenant matters, including lease advisory, rent reviews, and schedules of condition/dilapidations. There’s also scope to contribute to expert witness reporting, boundary and party wall disputes, and rating appeal work.

What’s on Offer
The firm offers a salary in the region of £50,000–£55,000, with mileage allowance and a performance-related bonus scheme. You’ll also benefit from private health cover, inclusion in the company pension scheme, and flexibility to work from home when suitable, though a regular office presence (three to four days per week) is expected outside of site visits.
