Hr Advisor

Description:

Venn Group is recruiting for a People Services Advisor (HR Advisor) to join a well-established and respected public sector organisation based in Derbyshire. This is a permanent hybrid role, offering an excellent opportunity to provide impactful HR services within a dynamic working environment.

As the sole lead on sickness and absence management, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the organization through effective case management, performance tracking, and advising on well-being and attendance issues. The role also includes managing complex employee relations cases, delivering HR training, and interpreting HR performance data to support strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for sickness and absence management across the organization.

• Manage a wide range of complex employee relations (ER) cases professionally and in compliance with organizational policies.

• Provide consistent, high-quality HR support and advisory services in line with agreed KPIs.

• Design and deliver training sessions focused on health, attendance, and well-being to improve management capacity and knowledge.

• Collect, analyze, and interpret HR performance data, particularly relating to attendance and health metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven track record in sickness and absence management.

• Experience handling complex HR/ER casework.

• CIPD Level 5 qualification preferred.

• Previous public sector experience is beneficial.

• Strong data analysis and training delivery capabilities.

• Ability to work autonomously and confidently in a hybrid setting.
